Four musicians from the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra came together to form the Adamello Quartet many years ago to express their love for chamber music. In addition to the classical and romantic core repertoire, the quartet is particularly interested in the rediscovery of works by neglected and by contemporary composers. The Adamello mountains in northern Italy are not only admired and hiked by the quartet members but are also an inspiration to conquer musical summits together.
