At the age of twelve, Tatjana Blome was first-prize winner at the Steinway Competition; a year later, she gave her first full-length piano recital.
She made her debut as a soloist in 1995 in Berlin’s Philharmonie with Brahms’s First Piano Concerto.
Until the age of fourteen, Tatjana Blome had piano lessons with her father, Josef-Matthias Blome, and subsequently studied with Heidrun Holtmann, Aribert Reimann, and Gerhard Oppitz.
Tatjana Blome performs solo recitals and is active as a concert soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe.
The numerous works she has recorded for CD have been released on the Deutsche Grammophon, Naxos, and eda records labels. She has participated in productions for Deutschlandradio Kultur, MDR, NDR, ZDF/Arte, Bavarian Radio, Sender Freies Berlin, and Radiotelevizija Slovenija.
